Last Time Out
Two weeks ago at the Razorback Invitational in Arkansas, Kaela Edwards brought the Cowgirl distance medley relay team back from 10-seconds down for the win, and Jacob Fincham-Dukes set a school record in the long jump.
Edwards ran a 4:31.22 mile-leg to give the Cowgirls the DMR win in 11:08.05, the third-best time in school history.
Fincham-Dukes leapt 7.60m/24-11.75 feet to top the school record by an inch.
Kira White ran a 7.54 second 60-meter dash, improving her personal best by more than a tenth of a second.
Josh Thompson and Craig Nowak took second and third in the 3,000-meter invitational run and Chelsea Jarvis took fourth in the 800-meter invitational.

The Cowboys ran two sub-four minute miles in Seattle and Iowa, and John Teeters won the 60-meter dash in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during this week of competition in 2016.
Josh Thompson's 3:58.33 gave him fourth in the mile competition in Washington, while Matthew Fayers' 3:59.25 gave him the win at the Iowa State Classic.
Jacob Fincham-Dukes finished third in the long jump at the Don Kirby Elite and Simon Imagbe took fifth in the same event.
For the Cowgirls, Chase Ealey won the shot put in Arkansas, Kaela Edwards ran the second-fastest 3,000-meter time in school history in Washington and the Cowgirls had three top-five marks in Iowa with Savannah Camacho leading the way with her third-place finish in the 800.
Â
Edwards Heads to Millrose Games
NCAA champion Kaela Edwards is on her own this weekend for the historic Millrose Games in New York.
The Cowgirl senior will head up to the Empire State to compete in the women's mile with a field of some of the best women in the world including Olympian and World bronze medalist Shannon Rowbury, three-time NCAA champion Dominique Scott-Efurd and New Hampshire's Elinor Purrier among others.
The race is expected to be fast, with personal bests ranging from Rowbury's 4:20.34 to high-schooler Kate Murphy's 2:39.
Edwards set the 1,000-meter collegiate record earlier in the season, and currently holds the Cowgirls' mile record at 4:32.14 and split 4:31 in the mile during the DMR at the Razorback Invitational two weeks ago.
Â
Magnani, Haines to Represent USA
Oklahoma State freshman Michelle Magnani won the U.S. Women's Junior Cross Country title in 22:36 at the USATF National Cross Country Championships Saturday in Bend, Oregon.
Magnani outran a talented field of American women in the 6K en rout to the national title, and, with the win, earned a spot on the U.S. Junior team that will compete at the World Championships in Kampala, Uganda on March 26.
Cowboy Freshman Alec Haines finished seventh in the men's junior 8K race in 26:35 to also earn a spot on Team USA with former Cowboy Shadrack Kipchirchir who finished third in the men's senior race.
Magnani and Haines are the second pair of OSU athletes to compete at the USA Championships in the past two years. Current Cowboys Ben Butler and Christian Liddell finished third and seventh at the Championship race in 2016.
Â
Edwards Added to Bowerman Watch List
Kaela Edwards' latest accomplishment in her senior season was a Cowgirl first as she made the Bowerman Award Watch List.
It was the first time a Cowgirl has ever made the prestigious list, and puts OSU in some elite company in NCAA track and field.
With Edwards now making the list, OSU is the 57th team of the 132 Division I programs to earn a women's Bowerman nod.
Last year, NCAA champions Chad Noelle and Nick Miller represented the Cowboys on the list and German Fernandez was a finalist for the award in 2010.
Â
Cowboys, Cowgirls Remain in Top-20
Week three of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll put the Oklahoma State Cowgirls at 17 and the Cowboys at 20.
Both teams took a slide down the ranking after a weekend away from competition, with the both sides dropping two places over the weekend.
The Cowboys were pushed out of the 18 spot by a rising Texas-El Paso team that jumped 13 places to 19 in the poll and distance-specialists Colorado who shot up 68 places from 85th to 17th in the week three poll.
The Cowgirls now sit as the fourth-highest ranked team in the conference behind defending conference champion Texas, Baylor and Kansas State. Oklahoma claimed the final top-25 spot to give the conference five ranked teams.
In the event rankings, the Cowboys own the third-best distance medley relay time from their run at the Razorback Invitational, and the Cowgirls DMR team has the No. 6 time in the NCAA.
Â
Thompson's Historic Run at Dempsey
Cowboy senior Josh Thompson made history at last year's Husky Classic when he ran a 3:58.33 mile to become the first Nevada native to run a sub-four minute mile.
This year he returns to the Dempsey Indoor Track looking for another sub-four minute mile and another NCAA qualifying time in the mile.
Last season, his 3:58 was the 18th-fastest time in the NCAA, but Thompson ran the anchor-leg for the Cowboys' All-America distance medley relay team that took fifth.
