Brendon Jelley Named Big 12 Golfer of the Month

Oklahoma State's Brendon Jelley was been named the Golfers of the Month for the month of February it was announced today. Jelley took home one tournament victory and a sub-70 scoring average for the month en route to his first league honor.
Jelley earned his first Top 20 of the season in the spring opener at The Amer Ari Invitational in Hawaii, closing with a 67 to finish at 212 (-4) and tied for 20th place, while helping the Cowboys to a fifth-place showing.
The Tulsa, Okla., native then earned his first career victory at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational to close out the month and help the Cowboys to their second team title of the year. Jelley opened with a 70 before posting rounds of 68 and 69 to finish at 9-under 207 and four shots clear of the field. Jelley posted a 69.83 scoring average for the month.
