STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football program hosted its annual Pro Day Tuesday inside the Boone Pickens Stadium weight room and at the Sherman E. Smith Training Center.
In total, 37 NFL personnel from 30 NFL teams were on hand for the event, in which 10 former Cowboys participated.
NFL Scouting Combine participants Emmanuel Ogbah, Kevin Peterson and Jimmy Bean were all part of the event, as well as receiver David Glidden, receiver Brandon Sheperd, linebacker Ryan Simmons, cornerback Michael Hunter, cornerback Miketavius Jones, longsnapper Josh Elias and offensive lineman Devin Davis.
Several players had solid performances at the event, with All-American Emmanuel Ogbah garnering the most attention for his on-field workouts. Although he elected to use all of his NFL Combine marks rather than time them again, Ogbah excelled in position drills with NFL scouts.
"I'm pleased with my progress so far," Ogbah said. "There's a lot of stuff I can keep getting better at, so I'm just working on it and getting better every day."
Peterson also impressed in his on-field workouts and clocked a 40-yard dash time of 4.50 seconds, significantly improving his time from the NFL Combine.
"I felt good," Peterson said. "It was my last time to get on this turf and actually perform. It was a lot of fun."
Hunter turned in several impressive marks on the day, as his 40-yard dash (4.40), vertical jump (38.5''), 60-yard shuttle (11.27) and bench press (17 reps) results all would have ranked among the top-10 among defensive back at this year's NFL Combine at sixth, fifth, eighth and ninth, respectively.
One of the most impressive marks of the event came from Simmons, who put up an impressive 25 reps in the bench press, which would have ranked third among linebackers at the NFL Combine.
Glidden was also solid in his position workouts, and logged a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash, which would have been among the top-15 wide receiver times at the combine. His 20-yard shuttle time of 4.30 was the best of the day and would have been among the top-20.
