2007-08 (Freshman season)
• scored a career-high 19 points in a quarterfinal game of the Big 12 Championship against Texas.
• recorded seven double-figure scoring games during the season, including 16 points and a career-high 10 rebounds at Texas Tech on Feb. 2 for his first-career double-double.
• grabbed 10 boards the following game against Colorado, giving him back-to-back double-figure rebounding games.
• shot 60 percent or better from the floor on 10 occasions with three or more makes.
• started 27 games during his rookie season.
High School
• played at Stoneridge Prepatory School in Simi Valley, Calif.
• received a three-star ranking from Rivals.com and was considered one of the top-20 players in the state of California.
• was also rated as the No. 81 player nationally according to Clark Francis.
• was nominated for the McDonald’s All-American game in 2007.
• was named the Athlete of the Year at Stoneridge Prep in 2007.
• participated in the top-100 African prospect (NBA Camp) in 2004.
• shot 50.5 percent from the floor and 30.8 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
• scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in an early season game against The Patterson School.
• averaged 3.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game his junior season.
• had his best performance against Philadelphia Lutheran in December of 2005, scoring 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting.
• attended the adidas Superstar Camp during the summer of 2006 in Atlanta and was rated the No. 7 center in the camp.
• played soccer for 10 years.
• was also recruited by Auburn, USC, Valparaiso, Ball State, Fresno State and Rutgers.
Personal
Born Feb. 7, 1987, Ibrahima is the son of Ousseynou Thomas and Anta Camara. He has two younger siblings, a brother, Babacar, and a sister, Anna. His enjoys watching television, playing video games and listening to music in his spare time. Ibrahima is contemplating a degree in telecommunications but has not yet declared a major at Oklahoma State.
