It is truly an exciting time to be a Cowboy! Current and upcoming campus construction (including the Boone Pickens Stadium west endzone addition, preparation for the Athletic Village and a number of other university facility projects) has created a number of challenges when it comes to providing the best possible gameday parking for our donors. As we continue this unprecedented growth, changes to our POSSE parking areas are inevitable. We appreciate your patience as we continue to adjust the POSSE gameday parking footprint in response to these factors.

Due to stadium and campus construction, we have lost more than 1,500 parking spaces since the 2005 season. Demand for OSU donor parking is at an all-time high, while available lots are in short supply. As such, POSSE donor parking will begin at $1,000 (Silver Star level) for the 2008 season. Below is a link to the POSSE parking map for the 2008 football season. Winter sports parking maps will be released at a later date.

2008 FOOTBALL PARKING MAP UPDATED 6-25-08

NOTE: POSSE PARKING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE DUE TO A NUMBER OF FACTORS, INCLUDING CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION, LOT AVAILABILITY AND DONOR DEMAND. IF CHANGES TO THE MAP ARE NECESSARY, AN UPDATED MAP WILL BE POSTED ONLINE AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE.

POSSE parking is based on annual giving to OSU Athletics from July 1 to June 30. However, donor seating payments for 2008-09 winter sport renewals will be accepted until August 1, 2008. If you are interested in upgrading your parking level, please contact the POSSE Office directly for more information.

In order to receive the benefit of parking for football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and wrestling, members of the POSSE must qualify based upon the following criteria:
• Be a donor of at least the minimum amount to qualify (based upon sport)
• Be a season ticket holder of that particular sport
• Parking spaces available for the donor level in which you qualify upon disbursement

Along with availability, several factors dictate the location of POSSE parking. One factor is the opportunity of lots for rent from OSU Parking and Transit. The POSSE rents each space from the university on a game-by-game basis. Once the number of spaces is known, the POSSE tabulates the number of donors within each donor level and assigns each parking lot accordingly from the top down, beginning with the lots closest to the stadium and working outward. Parking lots are maximized to use every space and ensure that qualifying donors have ample parking alternatives on gameday. Another factor affecting POSSE parking is the ongoing stadium renovation. The POSSE works with university and construction officials to secure the maximum amount of parking possible on gameday, as construction permits.

GAMEDAY PARKING PROCEDURES
Donors will be issued a different parking permit for each of the seven home games, mailed with your season tickets. The proper parking permit must be presented to the parking lot attendant for inspection and stub removal before entering the lot. Always display your permit while parked in your designated lot. Failure to display proper permit or unauthorized parking on gameday may result in your vehicle being towed at your expense. Football lots will typically open six hours before kickoff for night games and four hours prior to morning or afternoon kickoffs.

PARKING ETIQUETTE

Please do not save parking spaces for tailgate partners. Unless marked as reserved, all spaces are first-come, first-serve. Please do not set up tables, chairs or cookers in parking spaces next to you. For safety purposes, tailgating items cannot block driving lanes. No outside vendors unless approved by the POSSE office.

REPLACEMENT PASSES
Replacement parking passes can be obtained by calling the POSSE office at 405-744-7301. Replacement passes take precedence over original passes, which will be voided. A $150 replacement fee will be charged for each requested replacement pass. Payment must be received at time of request.

PUBLIC HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Football public parking for patrons needing handicap accessible parking will be located at the POSSE lot on Hall of Fame Ave., just west of the track and field complex (OSU parking lot 74). Shuttle service will be provided beginning three hours prior to kickoff and will continue to run during and after the game. The holder of the state-issued handicap parking permit must be present in the vehicle to qualify for parking in these lots.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
To qualify for POSSE RV parking, you must be a season ticket holder and donor at the minimum level of Marshal. RV parking is first-come, first-serve. A shuttle service will be provided to take fans to the stadium beginning three hours prior to kickoff and will resume service during the 4th quarter. Public RV parking is available in OSU parking lot 81, west of Walnut off Hall of Fame. You can view the campus map online here.
