A

ACCESSING YOUR SEAT
Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium on the side their game tickets indicate.

Each individual is encouraged to hold their own ticket to assist in expediting the scanning process. Game tickets will be electronically scanned by gate attendants. Everyone is encouraged to use the appropriate breezeway when going to your seat. Excessive movement on the part of spectators during the game is a common complaint to our game-day event staff. As a courtesy to other patrons, please remain in your seats until the play has ended.

ADMISSIONS
All persons, including children of any age, must have a ticket for admission into Boone Pickens Stadium. Ticket holders are restricted to seating in the location that appears on their ticket and agree to abide by facility and University policies, as well as State and Federal laws. OSU reserves the right to revoke tickets by refund of purchase. All persons entering the stadium are subject to search.

ALCOHOL
The possession or consumption of alcohol in the general seating areas of Boone Pickens Stadium is prohibited. Violators are subject to ejection and applicable legal action. Inebriated individuals will be denied admission into the stadium. Such ejections are not grounds for refunds.

ANIMALS
No pets or animals of any kind are allowed in the stadium with the exception of trained service animals for disabled guests. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times.

ANNOUNCEMENTS OR MESSAGES
No announcement or message will be made over the public address system unless an emergency is present. Requests for emergency messages need to be presented to an OSU Police Officer, OSU Safety Officer or Express Personnel Staff. Individuals not in attendance of the game can make these requests by contacting the OSUPD at 405/744-6523.

ATHLETIC CENTER/HERITAGE HALL
The Athletics Center is not open on gameday to the general public.

ATM MACHINE
ATM machines are located by the escalators (north and south plaza level) in Boone Pickens Stadium. Club and suite ticket holders have access to ATM machines located on the north and south club levels.

BABY CHANGING STATIONS
Baby changing stations are available in all public restrooms in Boone Pickens Stadium. They are located in the handicapped accessible bathroom stalls.

BABY STROLLERS
Baby strollers are not allowed in Boone Pickens Stadium.

BACKPACKS
Backpacks are not allowed in Boone Pickens Stadium.

BAG SCREENING
Appropriate sized bags and other permitted items will be checked prior to entering the stadium. Bags are limited in size so they can fit under the seat. Bags larger than 12” x 12” are not allowed in the stadium. Please leave all unnecessary items in your vehicle or at home. There are no provisions to check items at the gates. OSU will not be responsible for any item left at the gate. Patrons who refuse to allow visual inspections of bags or purses will be denied entry to the stadium. Please see the “Stadium Policies” section for items that are not permitted in the stadium.

BANNERS, FLAGS OR SIGNS (SPIRIT)
Any spirit banner, sign or flag considered to be improper (offensive, political, etc.) will be removed and confiscated by game management. The use of poles to hang spirit banners, signs or flags is prohibited.

BROADCAST
Cowboys Radio Network
Every game of the 2013 Cowboy Football season can be heard throughout the state of Oklahoma on the Cowboy Radio Network. OSU Football will cover the state when 26 stations join the Network. A list of stations is included on the athletics website and feature our three main flagship stations in Tulsa (KFAQ 1170AM), Stillwater (KSPI 93.7FM) and Oklahoma City (KXXY 96.1FM). 

Dave Hunziker enters his 14th season as the play-by-play voice of the Cowboys, while John Holcomb, sports director at CBS affiliate KOTV in Tulsa, will provide expert analysis for his 10th season. Robert Allen will provide sideline reports for the 13th year and co-host the postgame show. Cowboy Sports Talk, a call-in show with Coach Mike Gundy, is hosted by Dave Hunziker and airs every Monday night throughout the season at 6-7 p.m. (Live at Chick-fil-A in Stillwater). The show can be heard throughout the Cowboy Radio Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Check out the athletics department website at www.okstate.com for a complete list of stations.

Game Broadcasts
Network broadcasts for all Cowboy football games will begin 120 minutes prior to kickoff. The pre-game show will include interviews with Coach Gundy, Cowboy assistant coaches and players. The post-game show runs for one hour following the game and includes interviews from the locker room with players and coaches. Check out the athletics website for a complete listing of the statewide radio network and any national broadcasts.

CAMERAS/VIDEO CAMERAS
Point-and-shoot cameras are permitted for personal use. Any commercial photography is prohibited. Cameras with removable lens are permitted as long as they do not exceed 3 inches or the removable lens does not create a disturbance or obstructs the view of other fans. The use of tri-pods or mono-pods is prohibited. Video cameras are not allowed in the stadium.

CHAIRBACKS
Chairbacks are not permitted to be brought into the stadium.

CONCESSIONS
Concession stands will open at the same time patrons are allowed to enter the stadium (1-1/2 hours prior to kick-off). The concession stands are located throughout the stadium on the plaza and mezzanine levels.

CONDUCT
The NCAA, Big 12 Conference and Oklahoma State University promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and fans. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Fans are reminded they are prohibited from entering the playing field. Negative comments directed at student-athletes, coaches, game officials, team representatives, or other fans are grounds for removal. ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING
All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets which have been scanned in upon entry cannot be reused by another fan. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the OSU Athletic Ticket Office.

ELEVATORS
The elevators are for individuals who have the proper game ticket (club or suite level ticket) or proper game credential. Elevators in each of the stair towers will be assigned to do certain functions. Individuals with wheelchair seating located on the mezzanine level of the stadium will have a “WC” on their game ticket. Individuals with this type of ticket can utilize designated elevators to access the mezzanine level.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL PROCEDURES
Medical and safety personnel are assigned to the stadium. For assistance in any medical emergency, please contact an usher, OSU Police or OSU Safety personnel. It is extremely important that the exact location of the medical emergency is given so medical personnel know where the emergency is occurring.

ESCALATORS
The escalators are located in the middle of the north and south stadium and in the west end of the stadium. They are open to the general public to reach the mezzanine level. Only individuals with the proper game ticket or credential may use the escalators to access levels above the mezzanine.

EXPRESS GATES
Fans may enter through express gates located at S3, S4, S9, S10, N3, N4, N9, N10 and W4 and W5. These gates will have signage above the gates to identify them. Express gates allow quick entry into the stadium for individuals who do not have items that need to be inspected. No purses, bags, diaper bags, fanny packs, backpacks, camera cases, blankets, etc. will be allowed through these entrances.

EVACUATION
In the event of an emergency, stadium staff will utilize the public address system to inform patrons of the situation and any instructions. In the unlikely event of an evacuation, please remain calm, assist others and follow the instructions of the game day event staff. FAMILY/SPECIAL NEEDS RESTROOMS
Family restrooms are located by the elevators in the stadium. They are located both on the plaza and mezzanine levels. These restrooms are all wheelchair accessible.

FAN ASSISTANCE BOOTH
The Fan Assistance Booths are located on the ground level, in the middle of stadium, on the north and south side. These booths will be open 1-1/2 hours prior to kick-off through the end of the game. Fans may go to these booths for Lost and Found, information and assistance.

FIELD ACCESS
Spectators are prohibited from entering the playing field unless they are properly credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Violators are subject to arrest.

FIRST-AID ROOMS
First aid rooms located inside the stadium:

  • South side plaza level - by section 107 & 108
  • South side mezzanine level - by section 209 & 210
  • North side plaza level - by section 115
  • North side mezzanine level - by section 222 & 223

FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Patrons may not bring outside food or beverages inside the stadium (includes food or beverages purchased in Hall of Fame Block Party area). Concession stands are located throughout the stadium and offer a variety of food and beverages.

GAME DATES AND TIMES
OSU game dates and times are subject to change. In the event a game date or game time is changed this information will be posted on www.okstate.com.

GAME DAY EXPERIENCE
“Hall of Fame Block Party” opens 3-hours prior to kick-off on the north side of Boone Pickens Stadium. This family fun area features: inflatable games, face painting, live music, the Cowboy Vision and “Made in Oklahoma” crafters.

GATES OPEN
Stadium gates are open 1-1/2 hours prior to kickoff for students and the general public. Suite and club ticket holders may enter the stadium 2 hours prior to kickoff.

HALL OF FAME AVENUE
Hall of Fame Avenue will be closed (Game Day Experience set up area) to vehicular traffic on home football game weekends.

I

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Procedures have been developed for inclement weather. Information and procedures will be provided to the fans in the event of inclement weather (i.e. dangerous winds, tornado, electrical storm, etc.). Emergency instructions will be delivered via the public address system and video boards.

LOST AND FOUND PROCEDURES
All items that have been turned over to stadium personnel, police or safety will be taken to one of the Fan Assistance Booths which are located on the north and south side (plaza level) of the stadium. Items not picked up by the end of the game will be turned over to the OSU Athletic Department (Facilities). Individuals who have lost items need to contact the Athletic Facilities Office at 405/744-5741 during working hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday).

LOST CHILDREN
Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact an event staff person, police or safety officer to notify them their child is missing. Measures will be taken to locate the child. If a child gets separated from his/her party, he/she should notify the nearest police or safety officer or event staff member. If the child knows his/her seat location, attempts will be made to return that child to that location. Parents should pre-determine a location in the stadium to meet your children if you get separated.

Pistol Pete’s Tag-A-Kid program is offered to fans attending the game with small children. Patrons wanting to participate in this program can pick up wristbands in the Fan Assistance booths or in the Hall of Fame Block Party. Information will be put on these wristbands making it easier to reunite the parties should they be become separated.

Big 12 Conference and NCAA rules prohibit artificial noisemakers from being brought into the stadium.

PARKING-CREDENTIALS
Appropriate POSSE parking credentials must be displayed to gain admittance into POSSE parking lots. Parking credentials need to be displayed on the rearview mirror of the vehicle while it is parked in the designated lot.

PARKING -GENERAL PARKING LOTS
All lots not included in the controlled POSSE areas or otherwise controlled under the authorization of the OSUPD shall be open for general parking unless otherwise controlled
or restricted by OSU Parking Services.

Free public parking for Cowboy fans is available in downtown Stillwater. Courtesy shuttle service from downtown (7th and Lewis) to the stadium (Hall of Fame and Knoblock) begins 3 hours prior to kickoff continues throughout post-game.

PARKING-HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PARKING
To qualify for handicap parking, you must display a valid state handicap parking permit.
There will be handicap accessible parking areas around the stadium on football game days. Handicap parking is first come, first serve basis excluding the first row directly south and west of Boone Pickens Stadium (Lot 6 & Lot 10). Please visit the OSU website to view handicap parking areas and shuttle routes (www.okstateposse.com). You must present your state-issued handicap parking permit upon entering the lot. The holder of the permit must be in the vehicle upon entry. Over flow handicap parking will be located on the first level of the OSU Multimodal Parking Garage with shuttle service to the stadium. People entering the overflow handicap parking lot will use the Scott Avenue entrance (southeast side of garage). You can enter Scott Avenue either from Washington or Monroe. Shuttle service will be available to assist in transport to the stadium beginning three (3) hours prior to kickoff and beginning of the 4th quarter. The pick-up and drop off point will be located on the east side of the OSU Multimodal Transportation Terminal. This terminal is located directly south of the OSU Multimodal Parking Garage. A coupon will be given to you when you enter the parking garage. This coupon will be needed to get on this shuttle.

PARKING-LOT LOCATION AND HOURS
Maps are provided to season ticket holders and are posted on the POSSE website (www.okstateposse.com) at the beginning of each season showing the latest configuration. Due to construction on and around campus, lots are subject to change. POSSE football parking lots are open at 8:00 a.m. for games kicking off prior to 4:00 p.m. and will open at noon for games kicking off after 4:00 p.m.

PARKING-RV’S
POSSE/State Ranger members will park in Lot # 74 in reserved numbered spaces, which is located west of the track complex (Hall of Fame and Walnut Street). Individuals must have a proper parking permit to enter this lot. Limited non-reserved POSSE RV parking without hook-up is available in the Overflow lot #81 located at Hall of Fame and McFarland.  Access to this lot requires a POSSE Silver Star (or above) hang tag. 
Visitors and non-POSSE permitted RVs needing hook-ups should visit www.visitstillwater.org for parking availability. For those visitors and non-POSSE permitted RVs not requiring hook-ups, additional parking can be found on the northern edge of campus. Lots #84 and #112 located North of Hall of Fame and East of Willis provide limited parking and are about 0.5 of a mile to the game-day shuttle service.  All RV lots on University property will open the evening prior to each home game at 5:30 p.m.

PARKING – SHUTTLE SERVICE
A shuttle service will be provided to patrons who park in or around the State Ranger RV lot (south of the OSU Soccer Field). A shuttle service will also be provided to patrons who park in or around the Stillwater High School lots. The shuttle service will begin three (3) hours prior to kickoff and will resume routes during the 4th quarter of play. Please visit the OSU website to view parking areas and shuttle routes (www.okstateposse.com). The shuttle service from the overflow handicap parking lot (OSU Multimodal Parking Garage) will only be for those individuals who park in the overflow handicap parking area with the proper coupon which will be given upon entry to the garage.

PISTOL PETE’S PARTNERS
Pistol Pete’s Partners get free admission to OSU baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling and women’s basketball. Annual membership for children eighth grade and younger is only $25.00. Members receive a T-shirt, I.D. card, Pistol Pete picture, and invitations to special “members only” parties. Members and families will get a special ticket rate of $25 (Originally $75) to the Cowboy football game vs. Lamar on Saturday, September 14th. PROGRAMS
Programs are sold at the “Live Orange” stands located on the plaza level of the stadium.

RECYCLING
The SGA Sustainability Committee and Habitat for Humanity will be working with the OSU Athletic Department to recycle items in the stadium and in the POSSE parking lots. Plastic recycling containers will be placed throughout the stadium on the plaza and mezzanine levels. We are asking Cowboy fans to place their plastic bottles in these containers. The SGA Sustainability Committee will be out in the POSSE parking lots collecting plastic and aluminum.

REENTRY
Reentry into the stadium is possible only by scanning the game ticket out prior to leaving the stadium. The patron is advised that admission may be regained by presenting the game ticket that was scanned out. Reentry will be limited to specific gates. Early scan out gates will be S1, S11, W7, N1 and NI1. Additional scan out gates will be available at half-time. It will be required that all bags will be checked upon reentry.

RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located throughout the stadium on the plaza and mezzanine levels. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

SECURITY OF STADIUM

  • You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the stadium.
  • By tending your ticket and entering the stadium, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against Oklahoma State University. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the stadium. Please consult the “Stadium Policies” for items not allowed in the stadium.
  • Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the stadium.
  • Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately.
  • Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the stadium or the teams may be ejected from the facility.
  • Spectators are prohibited from entering the playing field unless they are properly credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Violators are subject to arrest.
  • An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected person is grounds for arrest.

SPECIAL SEATING REQUIREMENTS
Fans requiring special seating, such as wheelchair and companion seating need to contact the Ticket Office at 405/744-5745 at least 24 hours prior to the event. Wheelchair/companion seating is available throughout the stadium. A POSSE donation is required for certain seating locations. Patrons need to inform the ticket office if they require accessible seating when ordering tickets. Tickets for accessible seating will have a “WC” on the ticket. Ticket-holders should check-in at the designated areas (Fan Assistances, north and south sides, and room W100E and W214 in the west end zone) to receive a wristband and chair(s) (provided by staff if needed) for access to these restricted areas. This process is to help ensure appropriate use of the accessible seating. Unused seats will NOT be sold or made available to individuals without a need.

STADIUM CONCOURSES
Once inside Boone Pickens Stadium, fans are encouraged to utilize the concourses located on the plaza and mezzanine levels (under the seating bowl) to move around the stadium. Fans are also encouraged to utilize the proper breezeway when going to their seat.

STADIUM PLAZA - EAST
The East Plaza will be restricted to individuals who have the proper game ticket (wheelchair seating in east end zone or suite ticket) or game credential. It will not be used for fans to move from one side of the stadium to the other.

STADIUM POLICIES

  • All persons, including children of any age, must have a ticket for admission into Boone Pickens Stadium.
  • All persons are subject to search.
  • Allowable bags (12”x12”) brought into the stadium will be searched.
  • No tobacco products are allowed on university property.
  • No pets or animals of any kind are allowed in the stadium with the exception of service animals for impaired or disabled guests.
  • No chairbacks are allowed in the stadium.
  • Spirit banners, flags or signs considered to be improper will be removed and confiscated by game management. The use of poles to display these items is prohibited.
  • The following items are not permitted to be brought into Boone Pickens Stadium: umbrellas, alcoholic beverages, car seats, baby strollers, artificial noisemakers, beach balls, explosives, weapons, food, beverage, ice chests, backpacks, video cameras, camera lens (longer than 3 inches), tripods and monopods.

SUITES AND CLUB SEATS
Suite and Club seat holders will enter the stadium through special designated gates. The suite holders will enter the stadium through one of the stair towers and will be directed to an elevator to take them to the suite level. Club seat holders can enter the stadium through gate S6 (south side club ticket holders) or gate N6 (north side club ticker holders) and use the escalators to access the club level. Sky loft (# 501 & 515) ticket holders are encouraged to enter gate number S6 and use the escalator to the club level. Sky loft (# 551 & 565) ticket holders are encouraged to enter gate number N6 and use the escalator to the club level. Mega suite ticket holders are encouraged to use stair tower #2 (south mega suite) and #5 (north mega suite) to get to their suite. The mega suite is located on the club level (west end). You must have the proper game ticket to enter these areas. Club seat ticker holders can contact OSU Cowboy Dining to establish “tab” privileges at the bar in the club level.

TAILGATING

TENT RENTAL AREA
Space is available on the north side of the football stadium for holding special activities for small and large groups. There is a fee involved with this service. Interested parties need to contact the Cowboy Sports Properties at 405/744-3482 for additional information.

THE WALK
Join Head Coach Mike Gundy and the Cowboys as they make the traditional pre-game walk along Hester Street from the Atherton Hotel in the OSU Student Union to Boone Pickens Stadium. The Walk begins 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff. Go to www.okstate.com for updated route information and game day schedules.

THROWING OF ITEMS
The throwing of any items is prohibited and may result in eviction and/or prosecution.

TICKET PROBLEMS
If patrons have ticket problems prior to game day, they may need to visit the OSU Athletic Ticket Office located in the northeast corner (ground floor) of the OSU Athletics Center. If a ticket holder forgets or misplaces his/her ticket(s) on game day, the patron must go to the customer service window on the north or south side of Boone Pickens Stadium and obtain a ticket replacement. Only the actual ticket holder may request a ticket replacement. The original ticket barcode will be deactivated and will not be valid for admission.

TICKET OFFICE AND GAME DAY HOURS
The OSU Athletic Ticket Office, located in the northeast corner of the OSU Athletics Center, is open Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). For your convenience, the Ticket Office in Boone Pickens Stadium is open each football game day starting six (6) hours prior to kick-off or 8:00 a.m., which ever is later. The ticket office will stay open through halftime. Contact the OSU Ticket Office (405/744-5745 or 877/255-4678) for additional information.

TICKET OFFICE - WILL CALL
Will Call tickets (actual game tickets) are available for pick up at the southwest ticket windows (south side, west end) of Boone Pickens Stadium. These ticket windows will be open beginning six (6) hours prior to kick-off or 8:00 a.m. which ever is later. Picture ID and credit card (if applicable) are required to pick up tickets in Will Call. Only the ticket holder may pick up tickets unless arrangements are made through the Ticket Office in advance.

TICKET REPLACEMENTS
Replacements are available to season ticket holders and individual ticket holders in reserved seating areas for the following reasons:

  • Tickets are to be left for a friend.
  • Tickets were never received in the mail.
  • Tickets were lost or stolen.
  • Tickets were accidentally destroyed.


Request for replacements may be placed only by the ticket holder on record. Replacements are issued solely at the discretion of the Ticket Office. Replacements take precedence over the original ticket(s).

TICKET TRANSFERS
Transfers are at the discretion of the Athletic Department. Approval is considered by factors including, but not limited to, comparable giving history and case-by-case circumstances. Minimum POSSE point requirements, if applicable, must be met by the prospective transferee before a request form may be submitted. POSSE Priority points are not transferable.

TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Oklahoma State University is designated as a tobacco free campus. We request and appreciate your adherence and compliance with this University Policy.

TRAFFIC CONTROL
OSUPD will be responsible for traffic control around the football stadium. OSUPD will coordinate with Stillwater Police Department for traffic control around the City of Stillwater.

TRASH
Trash receptacles for the disposal of trash and other items are placed throughout the campus and stadium. Please help keep the campus and the stadium clean by properly disposing your trash.

UMBRELLAS
Umbrellas are not permitted in Boone Pickens Stadium.

UNIVERSITY STORE AT THE STADIUM
Officially licensed OSU merchandise is available for purchase at The Student Store at Boone Pickens Stadium. The Student Store at Boone Pickens Stadium is located on the south side of the stadium. A Nike Tent will be open on game day on the north of the stadium (outside the stadium fences) as well as locations on the plaza and mezzanine levels on the west end of Boone Pickens Stadium. Unauthorized merchandise may not be sold in or around Boone Pickens Stadium.

Video cameras are not permitted in the stadium.

WATER FOUNTAINS
Water fountains are located by the elevators in the north, west, and south sides of the stadium. They are located both on the plaza and mezzanine levels.

WEAPONS
No weapons of any kind are permitted in Boone Pickens Stadium or Gallagher-Iba Arena.
